- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw option and uses half‑goal or quarter‑goal lines to reduce possible outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for betting, used to manage risk and track performance.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from the same match into a single custom bet.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet that wins if each side scores at least one goal during the match, regardless of the final result.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss based on current odds.
- Cashback
- A promotion that refunds a percentage of net losses over a specific period, credited as bonus funds or real cash.
- Correct Score
- A wager that predicts the exact final score of a match, such as 2‑1 or 3‑0.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, win/draw) in a single wager, lowering the risk.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will net the first goal of the match.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit given by a sportsbook that can be used to place a bet, with any winnings usually returned without the stake.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A combined bet on the outcome at both half‑time and full‑time, such as a draw at half‑time and a home win at full‑time.
- Juice
- The commission or fee a sportsbook charges on a bet, usually built into the odds; also called vigorish.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer – the process of verifying a bettor’s identity, required by regulators to prevent fraud and underage gambling.
- Line Shopping
- The practice of comparing odds across different sportsbooks to find the best possible price for a bet.
- Live Betting
- Bets placed after a match has started, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match outright, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Movement
- Changes in betting odds over time, reflecting updates in team news, betting volume, or market sentiment.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher (over) or lower (under) than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay, offering higher odds than single bets.
- Point Spread
- A handicap applied to the favored team to level the playing field, requiring them to win by a certain margin for the bet to pay.
- Self-Exclusion
- A voluntary program that allows a player to block themselves from betting on a site for a set period.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a bet.
- System Bet
- A multi‑selection bet that covers various combinations of the picks, allowing you to win even if some selections lose.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an expected edge.
